After creating my first draft of my front cover, I then looked at the weaknesses, which consisted of the alignment of the text. I liked the style and colours I chose, however the alignment of mastheads are usually in the left hand corner, therefore I moved mine to try follow this, however my choice of background obstructs the text, making it difficult to read, therefore I have decided to leave my mast head in the right hand corner.
Another problem I came across, was the headline 'Kids at Hearts' obscures one of the band members faces, which therefore deteriorates the whole authenticity of the photo.
Taking these into account, i moved the headline 'Kids At Heart' further up, to therenore avoid disrupting the members face. However, I still came across the problem with the masthead against the background, therefore I changed the background, to one with similar qualities, however a different composition of the band members, hoping in which this wouldn't disrupt the mast head anymore.
This still didn't work, So i tried a different approach of using a completely different background. As you can see, by doing this I would have to change the colour of my text, as the white font doesn't show up against the background. I could change this writing to black, However i can immediatly see this doesn't work, and this style of image isn't as successful and look as realistic as the others, which consist of the band members, as the bold text works well against the grass, and the dull colours in the photo are a good contrast with the text. Therefore I think to get the best image, I should stay with the design of my first draft.
