This is my first draft of my contents page. As you can see it is slightly different to my drafts, however, I have followed the basic design and added improvements. I have followed the red and white font colour, and have included the magazine name at the top of the page and on the voucher, this is so that it is recognisable.
As this is only a draft, I have noticed a few errors. Such as the issue date is the 16th, and the voucher for the Christmas special is the 17th, which only leaves the readers a day, therefore for my final draft I will change this.
Also, for the vintage fashion fair, I haven't written anything about it, giving the location, cost, etc..
I will add this in later.
I think my background works well as I have picked a basic background, However added images I have taken over the top and used a low opacity on photo shop in order to make them less visible
This is my double page spread, as you can see it follows the same design scheme as my front cover, therefore it has consistency. The background is a very simple image, however with the interview text over the top, it looks more interesting. At the bottom I have placed single portraits of each band member with the name so the readers know who is saying which interview piece. However, once again I have used low opacity as to make sure they don't distract too much attention from the main background image and text.
